Order & Delivery Process
All orders are placed and confirmed directly through WhatsApp.
Once your order is finalised:
- We will share preparation timelines
- Delivery options will be discussed and confirmed with you
Customers may choose between:
- Urban Mithai assisted delivery (subject to availability), or
- Self-arranged pickup/delivery partner (e.g., Dunzo, Porter, etc.)
Serviceable Area
We currently operate within Gurgaon (Gurugram), Haryana only.
Orders must be scheduled for pickup or delivery within this area.
Preparation Time
All products are made fresh to order.
- Standard preparation time: 2–4 hours
- May vary depending on order size, product type, or peak periods
We will always communicate realistic timelines during order confirmation.
Delivery Responsibility
1. If Delivery is Arranged by Urban Mithai
When we assist in arranging delivery:
- We coordinate with trusted local delivery partners
- We ensure the order is handed over in proper condition
However, once the order is dispatched:
- Delivery timelines may be affected by traffic, weather, or external factors
- Minor delays beyond our control may occur
2. If Delivery is Arranged by the Customer
If you choose to book your own delivery partner:
- The order will be handed over safely at our pickup point
- Urban Mithai’s responsibility ends once the order is handed over
We are not responsible for:
- Delays by the delivery partner
- Mishandling during transit
- Non-delivery or failed delivery attempts
We recommend choosing a reliable delivery service and ensuring timely pickup.
Pickup Guidelines
Customers or their delivery partners must:
- Arrive at the agreed pickup time
- Handle the package with care (as products are perishable)
Delays in pickup may affect product quality.
Perishable Nature of Products
Urban Mithai products are fresh, preservative-free, and perishable.
- Best consumed within the recommended time
- Proper storage (if required) should be followed
We are not liable for spoilage due to:
- Delayed pickup
- Extended transit time
- Improper handling or storage
Delivery Issues
If Urban Mithai has arranged delivery and there is an issue (wrong/missing/damaged item), please inform us promptly.
If the delivery was arranged by the customer, we may still try to assist, but resolution will depend on the situation and is not guaranteed.
